Scope: The Assistant Trainer / Workshop Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Training equipment in the workshop assigned to him and assisting the Trainer in all workshop delivery material and managing all stores duties.
Specific Duties:
• To maintain all workshop equipment and prepare the workshops for lessons. Workshop stores management.
• Manage stock control in the workshop stores
• Support and assist the instructional staff in the delivery of the technical curriculum in the workshop
• Help trainees to achieve their potential, help improving the training programs
• Any other duties as reasonably required by TO Management
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of a High School / Diploma level qualification in technical subjects
• Significant relevant industrial experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Oil Well Drilling & Work Over, Engineering & Maintenance. Welding & Pipefitting, Chemical / Petroleum Plant Operating
• Minimum of 3 years experience in training or assistant training positions, although teacher training can be provided
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
• Excellent IT & presentation skills / Excellent English Language ability is essential
Location: Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic in Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Package: Very Attractive pay package — Salary paid in US$ (dependent upon experience and qualifications), Living allowance (in lieu of Accommodation + Transportation) healthcare, (For foreign candidates - annual flight allowance + baggage allowance, mobilization/ demobilization flights).
