Manager - Web Portal

(Jeddah)

The Manager — Web Portal drives Electronics. Home Appliance, Air-conditioning and IT product content distribution on the Web Portal, coordinating among the various streams within the ALJEAC network.

The individual will manage the day-to-day website content and marketing functions, working with both editorial, marketing and commerce / business to drive traffic and generate customer interactivity with the various ALJEAC products.

The Portal Manager will be expert in all major electronic delivery media and platforms and will need to perform basic web posting and uploads in coordination with the IT development team

Responsibilities'

• Day-to-day responsibility for the content and strategic organization of the ALJEAC portal.

• Coordinate with editorial and marketing, daily feeds of content among text, audio, video feeds, usage reports, advertising and portal marketing.

• Support customer and sales inquiries regarding the Portal content and features.

• Collaborate closely with the technical development teams as they create wire frames and prototypes and participate in defining functional requirements to ensure close connection between product vision and implementation.

• Design and lead with Marketing. ongoing market research. including customer interviews. observations and focus groups.

• Deploy documents and presentations for marketing. sales. training and customers, to support promotion of the ALJEAC portal.

• Respond with IT to any Portal outages. customer concerns and take responsibility for reporting and customer communication

• Provide end-to-end management of the portal process flow and ensure total customer satisfaction.

• Deploy and implement process flows with all the support departments — Call Center. Logistics & Warehousing, Finance, bank (Payment gateway) and Delivery services

Collaborate closely with Marketing and Warehouse and ensure availability of stocks for all models on the web portal.

Qualifications: Job Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years experience in web product development and / or product management field.

• Significant experience with creating and launching electronic. Home Appliance. AC products and IT products_

• Experience developing products in all key electronic product media including web, proprietary online, workflow solutions, mobile content delivery, etc. required.

• Strong project management and documentation skills.

• Proven success at collaborating across teams of business analysts, product developers and customer-facing staff to obtain a large quantity of high quality results.

• Excellent writing and oral presentation skills.

• Ability to lead and manage simultaneous projects.

• Deadline-conscious. results-driven. and high-performing in a high-intensity environment.

• Knowledge of Electronics. Home Appliance, Air-conditioning and IT products would be an added advantage.

Requirements'

• Dream Weaver or other HTML editing tools.

• Web Design Tools: Visual Studio, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.

• Experience with Intershop Enfinity e-Commerce Server suite would be an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Web Technology or related area.

• MBA in e-commerce would be an added advantage.
