Within the Tetra Pak Group, Tetra Pak Arabia is responsible for the GCC and Yemen markets, managing relationship with customers and delivering packaging material and processing and packaging lines for beverage cartons.
Overview of the Position:
We are looking for a
Communication Manager
Who will be a member of the Marketing & Product Management team and will work with the rest of the communication team in the cluster/region.
In this position, reporting to the Marketing Director, you will provide support to various marketing initiatives (product launches, customer campaigns, exhibitions, etc) through integrated PR activities and you will initiate various media relations and image-building campaigns to establish and raise the corporate and brand image of Tetra Pak. This position could lead to international job opportunities within the Tetra Pak group. In this position you will also:
• Develop a comprehensive long-term strategic public relations programme with the support of the Tetra Pak PR agency.
• Manage the media monitoring and analysis programme, with daily media alerts through the Media Watch Middle East.
• Participate in events such as World Milk Day, World Juice Day, World Environment Day, World Osteoporosis Day to raise the corporate brand image of Tetra Pak.
• Use internal and external communication tools including ORBIS Arabia intranet site, News Flash (electronic newsletter for internal communication) and MD's Quarterly Update Frontline to drive corporate key messages.
• Be responsible for a hard copy magazine targeting customers and employees (issued three times a year - Highlights) from gathering and editing content to coordinating lay-out and distribution among the audience.
• Contribute to the content and distribution of the Cluster electronic quarterly e-newsletter - GME Spotlight.
• Drive graphic guidelines and corporate identity consistency across all markets in the GCC and Yemen.
• Organize annual events such as Employee Day (family day), commercial department kick-off and other events to motivate employees and inspire a sense of belonging to the team.
Education and Languages:
University degree in mass communication, public communication or English is required. An MBA or other business-related Masters would be considered an advantage. Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Arabic a plus.
Professional Skills and Experience:
You should have at least 6-8 years experience in strategy development, communication management and driving corporate objectives through effective utilization of media and communication agencies. You should have previous experience of working in a team, of planning and executing internal and external communication campaigns and you should have managed agency relations (mainly PR agencies) or worked in a high profile PR agency. The incumbent must have a good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Excel and Word).
Personal Qualifications:
The desired candidate must have the ability to work together with other team members and easily build up an internal and external network, exchanging information and supporting others. You should be self-driven and must have excellent skills to drive the organizational objectives by achieving our vision through implementing an integrated communication plan.

Amount of traveling required: 20%
